Memorial Day Parade

Fun for everyone! Our second annual participation in the Memorial Day Parade with my youngest daughters pre-school. Sunny and warm (chilly and rainy last year), we all had a blast. Threw candy, waived big Hello's to the crowd, a small town, big fun day for all!

Prom 2009

Prom 2009. Bells is just a sophmore so a few more dances to go. We shopped together, tanned together, did nails, makeup, pictures, I love when they go to dances.

Oddmall 2009

My first show since the Holiday season and it was a blast! Busy and wonderful! An amazing collection of talented local artists. It was hard not to buy something from every booth. Super excited to have snagged an absolute favorite print from my vision gifted neighbor at the event, Mark Brabant! I bought, "Tuned In." LOVE IT! One of my favorite memories as a child was when my mom would put us in the car just before Christmas and drive around local neighborhoods so that my sister and I could see all of the homes, decked out in all of their Christmas glory. Not coming from a "Leave it to Beaver" home, I would find myself peering into the windows more than looking at all of the Christmas lights to steal a glimpse of happy, warm, family life. New offerings to bring in the new season. So much to get excited about with thoughts of spring flowers and green grass, warm wind, the smell of spring in the air. So far just a few samples of what's to come, mother nature is a big tease in Ohio.

The luck of the Irish brought us a beautiful warm sunny day!

Finally, two days of warm sunshine! Happy Days! Life seems lighter, happier when the sun is shining. I've been trying out a few new textured glazes and am excited about the result. More experiments in the works and I will be uploading some new designs to my Etsy site in the next few days. For today I chose pieces that make any day seems a little sunny! Hard to be inside when it's SO nice outside! Windows are open and fresh air is better than chocolate............today! : )

I'm always switching back and forth or combining larger "get you noticed" earrings to tiny posts that go with everything, keep in for days, comfy to sleep in earrings. With that in mind I crafted some tiny baby post earrings. Still adding more colors to the collection. I think I'll add some super bright citrus colors.
