Memorial Day Parade

Fun for everyone! Our second annual participation in the Memorial Day Parade with my youngest daughters pre-school. Sunny and warm (chilly and rainy last year), we all had a blast. Threw candy, waived big Hello's to the crowd, a small town, big fun day for all!

Oddmall 2009

My first show since the Holiday season and it was a blast! Busy and wonderful! An amazing collection of talented local artists. It was hard not to buy something from every booth. Super excited to have snagged an absolute favorite print from my vision gifted neighbor at the event, Mark Brabant! I bought, "Tuned In." LOVE IT! One of my favorite memories as a child was when my mom would put us in the car just before Christmas and drive around local neighborhoods so that my sister and I could see all of the homes, decked out in all of their Christmas glory. Not coming from a "Leave it to Beaver" home, I would find myself peering into the windows more than looking at all of the Christmas lights to steal a glimpse of happy, warm, family life. "Tuned In" puts me right back in my pj's and into my moms' Nova tooling through the neighborhoods. Thanks Mark!
